Electronics Repairs – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by Electronics Repairs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) to you, the customer (“you” or “your”). By submitting a device for repair, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

2. Services Provided

We offer diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and upgrade services for electronic devices including but not limited to smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, game consoles, and other consumer electronics.

3. Estimates and Approvals

All repair work will be preceded by a diagnostic and a cost estimate.

No work will be performed without your approval.

If you decline the repair after diagnostics, a diagnostic fee may apply.

4. Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon completion of the repair and before the release of the device.

We accept various forms of payment, including cash, card, and bank transfer.

Devices left unpaid for more than 60 days after completion may be considered abandoned.

5. Turnaround Time

We strive to complete repairs within the estimated timeframe, but delays may occur due to parts availability, supplier issues, or the complexity of the repair.

Expedited service may be available at an additional cost.

6. Parts and Warranties

We may use new, refurbished, or aftermarket parts based on availability and customer preference.

All repairs come with a 90-day limited warranty on parts and labor, covering only the specific repair performed.

The warranty does not cover:

– Physical or liquid damage

– Accidental damage

– Software issues

– Issues unrelated to the original repair

7. Data and Privacy

We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur during diagnostics or repairs. Customers are strongly advised to back up all data prior to service.

We will not access, copy, or share your personal data unless necessary for the repair and with your consent.

8. Liquid Damage and Non-Repairable Devices

Devices with liquid damage can be unpredictable. While we do our best to restore functionality, no guarantees can be made.

If a device is deemed non-repairable, you will be notified. A diagnostic fee may still apply.

9. Abandoned Devices

Devices not collected within 60 days of repair completion will be considered abandoned.

Abandoned devices may be sold or recycled to recover costs.

We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking such action.

10. Limitation of Liability

Electronics Repairs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from repair services.

In any case, our liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.

11. Third-Party Warranties

Please note that repairs carried out by us may void any existing manufacturer’s warranty. It is your responsibility to confirm your warranty terms before proceeding.

12. Customer Consent

By submitting a device to Electronics Repairs, you:

– Confirm you are the legal owner of the device or have authorization from the owner.

– Accept the inherent risks associated with repair services.

– Agree to the terms outlined in this document.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Enniskillen.
